I brought in a sterling silver chain that I needed shortened. Stacy was able to make me a bracelet with the leftover chain. She is the sweetest and is very thorough in making sure you are happy with the result! Her pricing is super affordable as well! Definitely recommend for all your jewelry needs!

if I could give this place 100 stars, I would. I took my ring here to get resized years ago and it turned out great. I just recently brought my aunt here to get her ring cleaned. Her house burned down and they managed to find her wedding ring in the ashes. The ring survived but it was in bad shape, the stones were very loose and it needed a good cleaning. They fixed the ring and now its just as beautiful as the day she put it on. Stacy spoke to my aunt for quite awhile and was incredibly sweet. Not only did they restore her ring but I think their kindness restored her faith in humanity a bit.

Very small hole in the wall jewelry shop.  I had been to Main st. Many times, but never noticed this shop.  I needed a ring resized and this shop was recommended to me by a friend.  I went into the shop and the people working here were very helpful.  I wasn't sure what ring size I needed and they had me try on their ring sizes to find the right fit.  They gave me a price and told me when to pick it up. It was ready on time and fit perfectly.  I wear the ring everyday!  I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a ring resized.

I am so happy that Something Fine was recommended on Nextdoor as a local jeweler that does amazing work. My fiance and I decided to have my engagement ring custom made, using the diamond from the solitaire princess cut that he originally gave me.  I was looking for something antique and whimsical and when I visited Something Fine, I saw that the pieces they made were definitely in that same wheelhouse. I showed Stacy a picture of what I liked, and she not only nailed the exact look, she made is so much more beautiful than I ever imagined. I’m so happy to be able to cherish my ring forever and I highly recommend Stacy to anyone looking for beautiful custom jewelry. I will be going back to her for my wedding band and I can’t wait to see what she does with it!

I have been letting the artisans at Something Fine tell my stories for over 20 years. All my jewelry has a story to tell. My jewelry always connects me to a good place like my wedding day or memories involving my children, places I've been and the best times of my life. At Something Fine they listen to your story and create a unique artistic piece to connect you to the comfort and happiness it commemorates. Go tell them your story.

I did not want a manufactured ring from a corporate store. I wanted a custom made ring and came to a little mom and pop store here in Seal Beach. Had it made and it was a little big. We asked if we could design it smaller and they did it with no hassles. This was the best decision ever. The owner was very professional and since it was a wedding ring she knew the importance and never once tried to up sale us or pressure us into anything. She helped design it from the beginning with drawings, then from drawings she made a wax ring, then molded the gold. Beautiful!!!

I recently decided to propose to my girlfriend and I didn’t know where to start. As a typical guy, I couldn’t tell the difference between the “Four C’s” and iced tea mix. Luckily, I had the luxury of knowing a great jeweler who could help me navigate the ins and outs of buying a ring. Stacy Walker sat down with me and really got to know my girlfriend’s tastes. Through this process, we were able to figure out how to design a ring that would fit what she wanted, while still being unique piece of art that nobody else had. Not only did Stacy handle the design of the ring, she also went out to a gemstone trade show in Arizona to look for the perfect diamond. While she wasn’t able to find the perfect stone in Arizona, Stacy used her contacts to find me an awesome diamond which was well within my price range. In fact, the appraised value of the diamond was almost double what I paid for it! When I saw the final product, my jaw dropped. The ring was perfect. It wasn’t too flashy but it still popped with a very distinct style. I was so excited to give it to my girlfriend. As a guy, I’ve always thought that it was foolish to spend so much money on a gemstone, but the look on my girlfriend’s face when I proposed was priceless. It has been over a week since the proposal and yet she still can’t stop staring at the ring and saying “it’s so shiny!!” I owe it all to Stacy for helping me to create a memory that will last a lifetime.

Stacy Walker was a part of one of the most important moments in my life- designing my and my fiance’s wedding bands. She listened to everything we had to say, shared with us some of her wisdom from her years of jewelry designing, and created beautiful pieces of art that we are both proud to be able to wear…for as long as we both shall live. Thank you, Stacy, for such a great and personal experience. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Thank you Stacey! Thank you for helping me pick out a fine piece of jewelry and staying within my budget. The two gold charm bracelet with the “Mom” charm made a great mothers day gift! Rosemary loved it! I felt good all day! Thanks…. Stacy keeps me coming back! For our 21st Anniversary I upgraded my wife’s wedding ring. First I wanted to upgrade the Diamond…. But the trade in value of the old diamond and the purchase price of the new diamond, it wasn’t worth it! So Stacy had a great idea… She asked me if I had old gold jewelry that I didn’t wear anymore… I had a few! This was to off set the high price of gold. Then she mad some new bands with lots of diamond baguettes. One with White gold! It looked incredible. My wife’s ring looks brand new and upgraded. Lots of Bling! My wife was very happy!

Stacy Walker of Something Fine in Seal Beach was so helpful recently with the design of a piece of custom jewelry that I envisioned for my wife. I sketched out the concept that I wanted and she helped clarify some of the more personal design points including the stone. She modeled the necklace pendant in wax and had me come to the shop to approve it.
She was very helpful when selecting the grade of metal to cast it in, reviewing my options and prices and making suggestions along the way. The finished product was exactly what I had envisioned and the gift (one of a kind) was cherished by my wife. I highly recommend visiting Something Fine if you are looking for a gift to impress even those people that seem to have everything. Thank you Stacy!

I love this place!! I’ve been buying heirlooms at Something Fine for 15 years and no walk on Main Street would be complete without a visit. Stacy and John are wonderful to work with whether just browsing or collaborating on a commissioned piece.

Cute little shop with very nice pieces of jewelry. They make everything by hand, sculpting, engraving, carving different metals (golds, silvers, etc.) into intricate designs and cut stones to match. It’s a family-run business, so you can expect great service and honest dealings. Ask for Josh if he’s there, because he’s awesome. Many of their pieces feature opals, which is my mom’s birthstone, so I’m planning on maybe picking out something she’ll like when I go back. They also offer smaller services, as I’m replacing a clasp on one of my necklaces and possibly resizing a ring.
I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood. Bring a girlfriend/wife/potential, and she’s sure to find something she’ll love!

Don’t even think about window shopping or stopping in to just look because it just isn’t possible. Stacy and John’s creations are just down right luscious and you will never see anything like their one-of-a-kind creations. Which is why when you see something you like, you may as well just suck it up and get it. My wonderful husband has been buying jewelry from them for almost 20 years and I still kick myself for letting a couple of very special pieces get away from me!

Without a doubt, Stacy has an amazing eye for the unique and eclectic! She knows what looks good (and what doesn’t). I wanted to do something truly special for my mother on her birthday, and Something Fine created a beautiful necklace just as I wanted! Thank you Stacy and John, you are the absolute best!!!
